The Tallman Hotel is located in Upper Lake, 15 minutes from Lakeport.  The original 1890’s building, now listed on the California Registry of Historic Places, has been fully restored and is surrounded by newly constructed suites and garden rooms, swimming pool and hot tub.  Next door is the Tallman’s restaurant, the Blue Wing Saloon & Cafe, which has garden seating and is open for lunch and dinner every day with brunch (and music) on Sunday.  The Tallman is offering a 15% discount for two night stays to participants in the Konocti Challenge.  www.TallmanHotel.com.
